Greater Manchester Youth Network (GMYN) has recently won some funding from UK Youth to run an employability programme for disadvantaged young people, supported by Coca-Cola.
As part of the programme, GMYN will be bringing businesses and young people together in conversation to learn from each other and build relationships; we want to look at how youth employment can be improved, and give the young people the skills and confidence to enter the workplace.
We’d like to introduce the young people to as broad a spectrum of businesses as possible, and the great variety of jobs that exist within them.
