Freshrb C.I.C. is a video production social enterprise that have now officially launched their crowdfunder campaign for the Silent Elephant Project, looking to take their short film workshops in to 5 schools. These workshops are geared to give marginalised long term and life-limiting health conditions a voice, through co-produced short films with students.
From their 2 previous successful pilot workshops, they realised that bringing factual conditions/health themes into fictional storylines encourages research amongst students and young people. Both for those who take part in the production of the short films and those who watch the short films. The demand from other schools in the Manchester region have been flocking in and this is why they have been encouraged to launch a crowd funding campaign.
This crowd funding campaign is designed to raise funds that will enable the Freshrb team to grow and keep up with the demand of this innovative workshops in more school.
