Documentary Film Making Opportunity

inspire* member FreshRB has an exciting upcoming opportunity in partnership with ICS for 8 aspiring creatives in North Manchester and Oldham, between the ages of 17 - 24 years.


If you know anyone interested in documentary filmmaking, speaking about community and social action this could be the perfect project for them. It's also a paid opportunity and they'll receive £250 upon completion. They will learn filmmaking skills and co-produce a documentary focusing on their community. Social action, civic journeys and community engagement are the key themes which will be covered in this documentary. They will use their creativity to bring their reflections and experiences of these themes to life. There will also be an official screening, where friends and family will be invited along to see the completed production on the big screen! We're accepting applicants now and they can apply here. Closing date is Tuesday 20th September at 5pm. This training will happen in 2 cohorts (North Manchester and Oldham) in the month of October. Before applying, please ensure they can make the dates (see below) and are residents of either Oldham or North Manchester. As payment for the project will be released up completion of the project.
