Mental Health Awareness Week 2022

Mental Health Awareness Week runs from 9-15th May 2022. It is an annual event aimed to raise awareness of the importance of achieving good mental health and to reduce the stigma of talking about mental health challenges.

The 2022 theme is "Loneliness" which is affecting more and more people in the UK than ever before, largely due to the long lasting impacts of the pandemic. Connections to community and other people is central to protecting our mental health and finding better ways to tackle the epidemic of loneliness is essential.

A number of our inspire* members, featured below, are not for profits who work daily, and tirelessly to raise mental health awareness and to support those facing mental health challenges. We're also helping to increase that understanding through a range of activities taking place this Mental Health Awareness Week.

Click on the links below to find out more about what they do, what help you can reach if needed and how you can support them to support others.

Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn the light on.
